Take that despair! I got HOPE!

was just listening to Elder Uchdorfs talk on hope. Man what a perfect way to describe what I need, hope! Hope is having confidence that what you are doing today will be what is right for the future. having patience and persevering through the hard times is necesarry and the greatest thing is that we are not alone in our struggles. God is with us every step of the way and he is there to lift us and to strengthen us as we do what is right.

Wondering when we'd hear from you again on here. What I love about that talk is that he quoted one of the scriptures that's inspired me so much: "Who against hope believed in hope..." (Romans 4:18).

Read more of Romans 4 for awesome point of views on Abraham's faith and hope. Sure love Abraham.

Oh and P.S. I think you'll like this quote from Bro. B's class. It's a summary of our discussion on Romans. Ahem... "Faith is believing that He [Jesus Christ] can, while hope is knowing that He will." (Pres. Mckay?) Charity then possesses us; we do not possess it.
